Power of a Web Pack

The World Wide Web is an enormous source of information. Searching for the information you want is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Unless you have the magnet of a search engine to attract your needle.

Sadly, as search engines directed us to the information we needed, thus increasing our dependence on them for everything, businesses learnt ways of optimizing search results so that their products, instead of the most relevant content, shows up first.

Interestingly, while you search the Internet for different needs, each one of us has, specific areas we regularly search for. The factors dictating what you search for include your work profile (technology, software, automobile etc.), personal interests (gardening, sports etc.) and your current need or preoccupation (pregnancy, particular health information etc.). Clubbed together, all of this would make a miniscule of the Internet. We call this, "Your Web".

Thus, it makes more sense for you to search "Your Web", rather than the World Wide Web. That's because if you can have the contents of "Your Web" on a personal device, you can search this offline, making your search quick, efficient and an anytime, anywhere, any-condition affair. This, 'Your Web' is what we package inside a Webaroo pack.

Downloading a web pack is exactly like buying music on iTunes (only that web packs are FREE!) – you buy it once… a song, or an entire album or an assortment of songs that could be anywhere between say 3 MBs, to 30 MBs to even 300 MBs. But once you've downloaded it into your laptop, it's for you to do what you want to do with it and when.

And, onto the recently released packs:

  • For the open source geeks, we have made an "Open Source News" pack.
  • For the newly weds, we've released some fantastic honeymoon destinations packs. Choose from "US East Coast Honeymoon Destinations", "Top Canadian Honeymoon Destinations", "Top Mexican Honeymoon Destinations", "US West Coast Honeymoon Destinations", "Honeymoon Destination – Hawaii" or "Caribbean Honeymoon Destinations".
  • For the Cricket fans, there are "Ashes Cricket News" and "Ashes web pack"
  • For the adventurer in you, we have released "Etosha National Park", "Masai Mara Wildlife Reserve" and "Serengeti National Park" web packs.
  • Browse through the "Dilbert pack" if you're bored at office,
  • And check out the latest innovations in the  "US Patent Grants 2006" pack.

We're always eager to hear your invaluable feedback. Let us know how you like the new packs, what more packs you would like to see and any other comment or suggestion that you have to make Webaroo a better product.
