Introducing Webaroo 1.2

On 2nd August, 2006 at about 1830 hours GMT, we launched version 1.2 of Webaroo.  Since launching Webaroo we’ve received great feedback from our users on how to improve the product, including the ‘add web site’ feature. We listened and in Webaroo 1.2, you’ll find extensive enhancements such as the ability to add greater link depth, limit the download size, and download document, audio and video attachments for the web sites you add to your library.

Some other features that we’ve incorporated include:

  • A new Webaroo toolbar button for your browser, making it easy to add web pages and sites as you browse. You can add a password protected page too, using the browser button.
  • The ability to Import your bookmarks from your browser to your Webaroo library.
  • The choice to store Webaroo content anywhere on your hard disk.
  • An enhanced Webaroo library, that shows you what content is being updated and helps you sort your web packs & sites.

…And many more improvements such as update notifications & new web pack alerts.

Of course, we continue to add to our collection of free, downloadable web packs – and we’d love to hear what packs you’re interested in. Please continue to send us your valuable feedback.

So go ahead, try Webaroo 1.2 (it’s FREE!)
